Founder and Managing Partner

Steven Tan is the Founder & Managing Partner of Bluffs Edge Partners. As the son of immigrants growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, Steven understands the effort required to build something out of nothing. Steven spent his early years as a competitive swimmer, a pianist, and a volunteer at Special Olympics. He is now an avid golfer, ski enthusiast, and aspiring guitarist.

His career spans a variety of engineering, product management, and strategy roles. He most recently advised three small businesses as an AI advisor, technology consultant, and M&A analyst where he recommended new product development, calculated highest ROI impact, and assisted in due diligence. He previously led the engineering team at a FinTech startup based in Boston, successfully developing and launching the first few products.
